getAssociationStatus in v4.1

I know about Associationsessions.verify in v4.1, but is there an equivalent to v3's getAssociationStatus in v4.1, a function where the status of a publisher can be checked at any time?  Or does this concept no longer exist with the new signup flow?

Hi there,

This concept does indeed no longer exist in the new signup flow, since hosts no longer need to collect information about the user and just get it atomically upon completion of the signup process.
