generate report filters, host channels

Given there is a host channel h1 which is associated with multiple publishers p1, p2, ..., pn, can the filter

CUSTOM_CHANNEL_ID==<h1 id>,AD_CLIENT_ID==<pn client id>

be used to retrieve the data for pn inside the data for h1, excluding data for other publishers inside h1's data?

(I would just test this myself to find out but I haven't yet figured out how to access live data from the sandbox.)

Hi there,

You can try the filter with the APIs explorer (or your app) to check that there are no syntax errors or general warnings.

In that particular case you need to use HOSTED_AD_CLIENT_ID, which corresponds to the ad client id of a publisher. AD_CLIENT_ID is used for host client ids (which I guess is not what you want).

My question should have been worded "What filters are used to retrieve the data for a specific client inside a specific host channel?"
 

In that particular case you need to use HOSTED_AD_CLIENT_ID, which corresponds to the ad client id of a publisher.
