Subject: Adsense API Pageview Requirement
Google states "a website must have user content pages that are
receiving at least one hundred thousand (100,000) page views per day"
but on the developer's application it asks "Domain(s) where you will
be integrating AdSense via the AdSense API:"

So does it mean that I can count and sum up my 5 sites or domains
daily pageviews to meet the 100K PV requirement to apply for the API?
Or does it mean that once I have been approved, I can use the API with
multiple domains?

Any clarification is appreciated.

Hi Billy,

It's the latter. In order to make sure that the AdSense API
integration is a good use of your time as well as ours, we require
that each individual domain exceeds the page view requirement prior to
going live with the API.

Ryan

Dear Ryan,

Thank you for your prompt response. I would just like to follow up
with a question: will I be able to access the sandbox to test out the
implementation but not going live if I were to apply for the API
without meeting the PV requirement at this point?

Thanks again,

Billy

Hi Billy,

Yes, if your site doesn't currently meet the requirement you can still
use the sandbox, but we won't be able to approve your application to
launch your implementation live. If you are a growing site, it still
may be a good idea to build your implementation and then you will be
ready to "flip the switch" when you hit the page view requirement.

More on the sandbox here: http://code.google.com/apis/adsense/developer/adsense_api_sandbox.html

Cheers,

Ryan
