  Actually, I&#39;ve never done this myself, other guys do it for me, but &lt;br&gt; there is an option in PHPMyAdmin to export a database (PHPMyAdmin is &lt;br&gt; accessed via the MAMP start page). You can then import that database &lt;br&gt; on your deployment server. &lt;br&gt; TO be effective in this process you should be able to navigate around

Do you have any resources for the &lt;br&gt; process of moving your local flex app and database to a remote server &lt;br&gt; for deployment?   I don&#39;t know what to do about that. I&#39;ve always just built my app &lt;br&gt; locally then moved the database and app to my sever to be deployed. &lt;br&gt; The easist thing to do is to use WAMP or MAMP and then run it all off &lt;br&gt; your own computer. That way you also have quicker access to error &lt;br&gt; logs and whatnot. It&#39;s easy to do.... really easy and its the work

  I am sorry, that message was not descriptive. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I use FTP to connect in dreamweaver. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I am trying to determine the proper connection string to connnect to a &lt;br&gt; remote PHP service in flex. I believe it only allows http connection &lt;br&gt; strings, none of which I have tried are working. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I need to figure out what it is I am doing wrong.

  Make sure you are connecting to a PHP service as opposed to an FTP &lt;br&gt; service. When you connect via Dreamweaver, are you connecting using a &lt;br&gt; PHP protocall or just a uploading flies via an FTP. &lt;br&gt; Alan

  I do not have apache/mysql/php installed locally. I use a 3rd party &lt;br&gt; web host. I can connect to that server from my machine from and ftp &lt;br&gt; client like dreamweaver, but I cannot setup a connection from the Flex &lt;br&gt; Project menu.
