researching CS4 install best practices...

I'm about to install the cs4 master collection on my laptop...sony
vaio t7100 dual processor 1.80 ghz windows vista 32 bit system -Nvidia
GeForce 8400M GT. My cs3 master collection runs flawlessly, and the
demo versions of DW FW Flash CS4 do as well. It has been my experience
that getting the lowdown on install before hand leads to best results.
I'm a bit confused as I do my homework on this one. What exactly are
the issues what should I do to assure best possible results this time?
I can usually zone right in on best case scenario info by starting
with photoshop user research...but this time I seem to be hitting a
brick wall...the info is just so conflicting...am I missing
something??? Guide me please...Many thanks in advance from a long time
