When I open a picture in CS4 is comes up at the upper left corner of the screen... no big deal...
BUT, when I try to pull it down to another section of the screen it pops back up to the default position...
I was able move the image around in CS3.. .what am I missing in CS4
Is there a setting I am missing or a preference setting I am missing..

Please advise someone, Thanks

Tom

Can't remember the exact answer, but it has to do with the position you release the picture from. Seems like you have to drag it to lower right corner, there may even be a screen marker change to indicate the position. With this clue just experiment.

isn't this the tabbed interface issue? there is a way in preferences to turn that off.

Yes and you can float/arrange the windows from the drop-down menu in the bar at the top.

It all takes some getting sorted the way you want it.
