Although I know that many have, I have had none of the issues you state.
I've been running vista 32 on my Production Machine since before RTM and
have never looked back. I do have a few XP machines, but I use those as my
'workhorses', to which I offload tasks so as not to tie up my main machine.

Yes, the bios and Vista 64 reports all 8 gigs, as do all Vista utilities and
3rd party utilities as well. I should have been clearer in my OP. My
apologies.

Actually, I do work with files that are often several hundred MBs, often
saving Tif and PSD files with multiple layers and channels. I haven't bogged
CS3 down as of yet, and who knows, perhaps it sees all 8 and is reporting
only 3200 and change. I guess it really doesn't matter unless I experience
issues. But, of course, if You (or anyone else) can think of something that
might resolve the issue, I'm glad to hear it.
