Wacom Side button working differently between CS4 and vesion 7.0

I was using my Wacom tablet with a trial version of CS4 and I noticed I could press and hold the side button of my grip pen and the paint flow was 100% without applying any pressure to the tablet surface. Not so when I went back to my old Photoshop 7.0. Is it my tablet or is this just a feature of newer versions of Photoshop?

Matt,

In the Wacom control panel there may be different settings for different applications, so maybe that causes it.

Settings are program specific.

Thanks guys. So rhawkins, the duo switch on the pen may work differently with different versions of photoshop?

Yes. you need to customize the stylus for each app.
