I now have versions 7, CS CS2, CS3 and CS4 on my system. When can I uninstall the older versions.\?

Whenever you want but I'd certainly leave CS3 until the bugs are worked
out a bit on C4. If you do a lot of printing from Photoshop you may even
want to leave CS2.

Thanks Bob and Dave. That freed up some space on the root drive.

This thread brings to mind a question that is quite the opposite.

Photoshop CS2 has a procedure that is quite useful when printing to certain HP printers. I have CS3 and CS4 installed on my system. I wonder what problems I might cause if I install my copy of CS2 on this system...PS CS2 has never been installed on this system.

If you use Image Ready you might want to Keep CS2

Neither of those stock answers answered the question.

I think you might have to wind the clock back by un-installing CS4 and CS3 before you can safely re-install CS2 and then install the later ones again.

In other words, my advice is don't risk it.

Don't you have another computer that you can have CS2 on?

In what universe is 1:22pm PST later than 2:20pm PST? :)

That was my thoughts, too. I don't think it is worth the effort and if I ever change my mind I'll probably just install CS2 on an old laptop I have. It ran fine there a few years ago.

When I looked I thought I saw 1:20 must have ben a Sunday thing.

But I was replying to the OP about his deleting earlier versions. and completely missed your question which JJ answered.
