Just draw the ribbon segments using the pen tool on separate paths. Use those to select each segment individually and use to 'trim' your final result in each panel after you use 'warp mesh' to shape the content to suit.

Hi Kit,

I believe that could have been done by first creating a 'ribbon' of different slices of images 'pasted' together in a long strip. Then the series of twists could have been performed using AV Brothers' Page Curl Pro which is actually a little 3D environment which operates within Photoshop. Once the twists and were applied, just a transform operation to taper the 'ribbon' would accomplish the perspective effect. Here is just a simple regular twist given to two intertwining strips using Page Curl Pro.
