Hello All,

I have an image that has a clipping path. I used layer styles, and selected stroke to create a think line around the image. The line is jagged. Is there any way to smooth this out. I can't find any options for this in the layer styles box.

Thanks!

And are you viewing your image at 100% magnification?

The resolution is 72 dpi, this is going into aftereffects.

I am viewing the image at 100%.

Thank You!

ah, I see. Would it be better to stroke this in AE?

Never used AE but 72ppi is 72ppi no matter what app you use. you want smoother look you need higher resolution.

Heather, you should also make sure you have anti-aliasing checked when turing a path into a selection. This could be your issue here. 72 ppi should hold a stroke fine, as it's close to everything you see online (your monitor resolution will vary).
