Hello Adobe forum,
Recently after opening a document in Photoshop & using the Pen tool, the precision gets thrown off. When I click to add a new anchor point, it doesn't place the point at the end of the pen, but rather at the base of the pen. Any suggestions? I'm on a Mac platform & using CS4.

Thanks in advance!

Hello Mark. Sorry it took me so long to reply. It surely did work. I normally use the F key to toggle through the different view modes, but somewhere along the way, it must throw off the precision. Once I go through the three viewing modes, it resets the calibration. Many thanks!

Yes its an issue with some Graphics cards. Which card do you have?

Before you reply, be prepared for an onslaught of condescending, and imperious "NOT COMPATIBLE, shell out another $200 of your hard earned money you idiot" responses.

This is the info I found about my Graphic Card:

ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT:

Chipset Model: ATI Radeon HD 2600
Type: Display
Bus: PCIe
Slot: Slot-1
PCIe Lane Width: x16
VRAM (Total): 256 MB
Vendor: ATI (0x1002)
Device ID: 0x9588
Revision ID: 0x0000
ROM Revision: 113-B1480A-252
EFI Driver Version: 01.00.252

I'm not too concerned. It's my work computer that's doing it. I don't have any problems with my iMac at home. And if switching viewing modes fixes it, I'll live.
