Making calendars in photoshop elements 7

I am having trouble making a custom calendar in photoshop. I need to make a custom calendar for my online college class and I have made the picture but can not figure out how to make the calendar. I have tried the create photo calendar but it just takes me to a page a buy a calendar and I do not need that. I found another way to make the calendar by going to the display button on the top and going to the set date or the date button and have made it somewhat like that but can not figure out how to save it on my computer instead of just in the photoshop. I have photoshop elements 7 on my computer. I just can not figure out what to do and hope someone can help me.

You used to be able to make custom calendars using the software with older versions. But it would seem as though Adobe removed this functionality in favor of the websites where you have to buy the calendars. Hey Adobe, we don't need a 3rd party to allow us to create and print calendars.Please bring back this feature.

I have used MS Publisher to make my photo calendars, create your photos in
Photoshop and save as appropriate size to insert into Publisher.
