2.01 Update and Portrait Photos

Hi there,

Since installing the Photoshop Album 2.01 update a few months ago, all of my portrait images are shown in landscape orientation. Previously, they were automatically flipped to the way they were meant to be viewed.

Is there a fix for this? It's not a major problem, but more an annoying one. I'm using a Canon PowerShot G5.

Mystery - My G5 portrait images display as portrait in the photo well with 2.0.1.

Please look at Properties Complete Metadata and tell us if it shows an Orientation field with Rotate 90 after the make and model.

Also, since you have a G5 please read the following thread because this problem does happen for a G5
