What fonts doesn't Acrobat like?

I convert CorelDraw graphics and various fonts into Acrobat and the results
back from printer are really good, no problems, it really works well. Never
realised I had to embed fonts, never discovered that box. Ignorance is
bliss! Now I'm sending these files to a non-professional and the fonts are
terrible,corrupting the design. So I'm finding out about enbedding fonts.
My questions are: Acrobat doesn't always want to embed my fonts, why not?
What fonts do I avoid? Do I send the problem fonts to the recipient for him
to put them on his PC? Is that the right solution. Or is there a list of
fonts that are safe to use. Or a list of fonts to be avoided? Many thanks

When you embed the fonts the file has the fonts for it to be displayed on a recipients
computer whether the recipient has the fonts or not. When you don't embed the recepient
has to have the same fonts on their computer or the recepient has to perform font
substitution.
I may have missed it but I couldn't find a preference in Acrobat to defaulting to always
embedding fonts. However the Adobe PDF printer does have that option but I am not sure if
that is for all fonts or just Adobe PS Fonts (.PFB).
