I am now trying to reinstall Acrobat from the CS3 package, and the
install gets to a certain point and then says that it needs me to insert
the Photoshop Elements 6 disc. I never had nor do I have that disk as I
never purchased the program.
I looked in the directories and tried to find whatever is still on the
computer from PSE 6 and I can't find anything. I deleted the files in
the library, but that's it.
Any ideas? I really need to get Acrobat back up and running as I have a
number of pdf files to create.
Thanks,
Carole
dear elements stymied
uninstall elements ...
you have to actually uninstall everything adobe including reader and
flash etc ...
then once your computer is adobe free you can do a clean install of
the cs3 web you have
thankls
Thanks, but since I trashed PSE6, I can't do an uninstall....thereby
creating my problem.
I've decided to ditch Adobe products as their customer service never
even answered me.
