Reminder: Chapter Presentation Tonight

Tonight is the second-to-last chapter presentation of the season.

“Yukon 1000: The longest and most dangerous canoe and kayak race in the world” 

RMSC Auditorium, 7:30 p.m.

(There is no pre-meeting workshop this month)

After the meeting, we will visit the Old Toad for some refreshments

WARNING, DO YOU REALLY WANT TO DO THIS?  THIS IS A DANGEROUS EVENT AND EVEN IF YOU ARE A WELL-PREPARED EXPERT YOU MIGHT DIE!  

Phil Saunders and Rob Gunther heeded these warnings when they embarked on this adventure.

Come and enjoy a presentation and slide show summarizing the challenges of participating in a 1,000 mile canoe race down the Yukon River from Whitehorse, Yukon Territory CA to the Dalton highway, Alaska USA. A range of topics will be covered summarizing the teams seven day race/expedition.
