Conservation Event: Pick up the Parks 4/28

On Saturday, April 28, the ADK will be participating in the Monroe
County Pick-up-the-Parks event, which goes on annually at 7 county
parks, as sort of an earth day celebration.
ADK will be site host at Powder Mills Park. Volunteers
will meet at the Rand Lodge, just east of the hatchery on Park Road by
9am. No need to register, just show up.
9am-noon: cleanup
Noon: Thank You Picnic (food provided for hungry volunteers!), Eco-
Fair, and e-scrap collection.
This will be a nice chance to enjoy the spring season in Powder Mill
park and explore some of the walking paths.
