Hi Ian,

sorry to hear you are having problems after a re-build of your system.
Paul is away for a couple of weeks well deserved holiday and I am
keeping an eye of the group messages. The only snag here is that I do
not have an up-to-date copy of Aditsite - or the underlying database
which seems to be giving you a problem - mine goes back to 2003. It
works fine for me but is probably missing a trick or three.

My elderly version does not include the table name mentioned in the
error message you are getting. Makes me wonder if the version of the
database you are using is out of synch with the version of the
software.

Perhaps one of the other group members can help us out here?

Regards,

Mike

Hi Iain

Have download the upto date softwear AditSite.zip or asmktwin.zip and
then extracting the file (Aditsite.exe) in to the Aditsite folder.

Hi Again Ian.

Would I be correct in thinking that you have effectively installed the
latest version of AditSite but that your database was one that you
saved from your PC before re-building it? If so - then we know why
they are "out of phase" so to speak.

How big is your AditSite.mdb database file? Is it something that could
be emailed directly to me if I gave you the address? It might be I can
fix it for you. Before we think about that though I have arranged to
get one of the latest databases and to take a look at the additions
since my copy was created. Hopefully we can get this fixed before Paul
returns from his holiday.

Mike Griffiths

Just to close this topic off.

To avoid problems like this one - keep a copy of your AditSite
installation kit in the draw (fire safe or what have you) with your
data back-ups. That way, if disaster strikes and you need to put your
system back together again, you will have the right program version
for your database.

If you are subsequently sent a program upgrade or download one from
this site then make a copy of the set-up program and data (on a CD) to
replace your original software installation kit.
