Hello adhearsion group,

Newbie here with a simple question: Can anyone tell me how to keep
the ahn process alive? I'm running trunk (0.8) and it seems to die
when I close the terminal window on both my local OSX box and after I
close the ssh window on my Cent server. Is there a way to keep it
alive and get back to the output window like /usr/sbin/asterisk -r
does for Asterisk? I'm sure its something simple. Any info would be
great.

Thanks,

Try using the

ahn start daemon /path/to/ahn_app

syntax.

If you want even more reliability, take a look at Monit (linux only)
and configure it to use Adhearsion with the .pid file it creates when
daemonized.

Hope this helps,

Daemonizing the process worked just fine. I'll into Monit too. Thanks
Jay!
