dev works, prod works, test doesn't... =8-{

I'm running 0.7.7 (yes, still...) I have an app that works fine in dev
environment, and in production, but my test server was rebuilt and it
now raise()s on all phone calls. It gives no information useful to me in
the exception. Here is what little I have to go on. Any ideas? How can
I get more info as to what it's dying on? I have logger statements,
but none of them are writing to the log (in test, they work in dev).
