Hi Chris,
Thanks for the debugging suggestion.
Thanks also for the working sets suggestion. Is there a way to easily share
the working sets with team members?
I noticed that the working-set configuration is not stored in the
application's .jws file (but in the one in the o.ide directory)
Ciao
Aino

 Chris,
Fusion apps breaks their code down by development team with each
dev team having a small number of workspaces. They then have a
cross-team build process that pulls it all together. The JDeveloper &
WebCenter teams both use a single workspace with many projects....but
then again, we're talking fewer developers/modules. JDev currently has

 Aino,
One way around this is open both your main workspace and the ADF
library workspace in Jdeveloper.
* set break points in your ADF Library source
* right-click on the break points & set the scope to "global"
* when you debug your main project, it should now halt at your
breakpoints.

I agree, I haven't yet found out how you can debug through the ADF
Library.jar taskflow source code. I note the ADF Library Jars don't
seem to include the source code. On creating the ADF Library Jar
deployment profile in the project properties, it's missing the option
to include the source code unlike the normal Jar deployment profile.

 Hi,
Putting taskflows in separate projects and 'deploy' them as ADF libraries is
a real good practice.
However, with nested taskflows, we experienced problems when debugging; i.e.
the main webapplication was not able to find the sources of the nested
taskflow.
Anybody having the same experiences or did we just do something wrong ;-( ?

 Hi Romano
A VC just like a model project can be turned into an ADF Library and
pulled into another VC.
How we see it is your logical application is made up a number of
bounded task flows + one master application (containing a single
unbounded task flow) that brings them altogether (or in other words

 Hi Chris,
Thanx for the quick response. I have read the thread you suggested
and, in combination with you comments, it cleared my view on
application lay-outs.
JHS uses ApplicationDefinition files, in which AM's are referenced for
the generated TF's, pageDefs and jspx's.
These are generated in one VC-project. Splitting the TF's from the

On a purely commercial level don't forget Oracle Application Testing
Suite needs to be licensed too - last time I looked it was about 8,000
USD per developer but you'd need to check that.
