Is there any future schedule for this class?  More specifically, will it be presented in the U.S. any time soon?

Hi Stephen, we are working on rolling this out globally but part of the reason we're launching in EMEA is there has been a demand and initiative to run this.  Juergen Kress runs partner led events and requested we deliver an ADF Masterclass course, so it was easy for us to say yes:  the logistics were taken care of and the material is prepared.

Whilst we are working on our own roll out plans, if some group in Oracle, a user group, or an external partner, wants to build an event and deliver this content, then we're happy to talk to them to see if we can support their initiative.
If anyone on the list feels that this is something they could do, then email me.

regards
Grant

Hi Jürgen,
Any chance that this event can be repeated in UK?

Best Regards,

I'll let Juergen respond on whether his group can organize a UK run, but we did do a 3 hour "taster" at the UKOUG conference in December, delivered by Chris Muir.  And as an FYI, we are covering ADF Mobile at this UKOUG SIG the week after next.

http://www.ukoug.org/events/ukoug-development-sig-meeting-2013-1/

I'm certainly happy to arrange something in the UK is we can get the numbers.

Hi Grant,
I'm not member of the UKOUG -yet- so that's why I didn't know about UKOUG SIG event, but I'll make my best to be there.

Just out of curiosity when you say numbers, how many do you mean, because I guess numbers of partners in UK will cover that by a lot!

Best Regards,
Amr Gawish

I'd encourage everyone to look at their local user groups.  We are pushing hard through these user groups to educate our install base - I know the German, RMOUG, ODTUG, UKOUG, NZ and AUS user groups have a mass of ADF content delivered by guys like Frank Nimphius, Lynn Munsinger, Chris Muir, Duncan Mills, Shay Shmeltzer and loads others...and its generally "free" to members.

Ok, promotion aside, don't hold me to specific numbers but 30+ might be point where we can justify (assuming we get the right people attending).

That said, we are working on general roll out plans and may look to partners to help scale this out, so any Oracle partners who might be interested ping me off list.

A small note to say I hope people take Grant's offer seriously.
Oracle's willing to bend a long way for customers here, but you gotta
meet us half way (which would be somewhere near the floor, I guess?) -
contact us!
