Hi there!

Imagine that your apps are deployed in different locations (eg: cities, states, countries...), what is recommended is that your mds database should be at the same site, if you have multiple sites (different locations), a good approach is to have a "local" database. 

Of course this brings other issues, such as data replication, but this is another discussion.

Should I install an mds repository in the database to which most of my application modules connect too?
