I've been working with OEPE for a little bit and I notice that the full installer ships with "WLS 10.3.6" and ADF which uses JSF 1.2.  If, however, you download JDeveloper it will install WLS 10.3.5 with JSF 2.0.

I bring this up because it's possible to develop something which will run locally but fail to run on a deployed system.  This is quite noticeable when OEPE generates a weblogic.xml file which requires JSF 1.2 and that library won't be on the server.

Does anyone know might be going on?  Are the versions of ADF for OEPE different than those shipped with JDev?

Yes, the support for  ADF in the 12.1.1.0.1 version of OEPE is different from the ADF version shipped with the version 11.1.2.1.0 of JDeveloper.

OEPE 12.1.1.0.1 supports ADF that is compatible with  the ADF in version 11.1.1.6.0 of  JDeveloper which is based on JSF 1.2.

Hope this helps.
