Subject: Crashed Hard Drive & Lost Photos

[image: Harry Potter x Moonlight Fairy.JPG]

I have been overwhelmed by the enormous amount of offers of help to restore
my photos.  It is extremely humbling and I am extremely grateful.

From being rather discouraged a few weeks ago I now feel that my efforts are
appreciated and this gives me lots of encouragement to continue.

However, all was not lost.  I made a CD for Mark Dimmitt to select some
photos for his book and fortunately kept a copy although Mark kindly offered
to return his copy to me.  Also I am occasionally asked to lecture to
universities and horticultural societies and these are on disc and I keep
copies.  Many of you may have forgotten that we have a mirror site on Google
– groups.google.com/group/Adenium -  where I always put a copy of any of my
messages to this group containing photos.  Consequently yesterday I
downloaded three years of my messages.  Any members new to this group, who
wish, can see all my old postings with photos at that site  (there are some
very nice photos there).  So all I have really lost are my monkey photos and
my personal photos.  So this will stimulate me to taking lots more photos!

I am still having trouble putting pictures into messages without having to
use attachments; so here is a test:

This is ‘Harry Potter’ x ‘Moonlight Fairy’
