Whilst it is not unusual to get two embryos or seedlings germinating from just one seed, indeed occasionally I have had even three but I cannot recall having noticed a pair of conjoined twins before. The cross was ‘Super Noble Concubine' x 'Doxon' - only two seeds were produced and these were sown on paper. They both germinated but one was a Siamese twin with two sets of cotyledons - equivalent to a child being born with two heads. 'Doxon' is a double but I have germinated quite a number of seedlings from it, but this is the first conjoined twin.
