This seedling flowered for the first time this morning:
With this photo I attempted to get maximum depth of field by selecting Aperture Priority on the camera and fixing it at F8, but all the hand held photos were blurry so I used a tripod for this shot.
Here is a hand-held photo with the camera at total automatic, possibly more interesting than the tripod shot, but note that the deep throat is out of focus:

The pollen parent 'Star of Red Sparkles' I find a difficult parent. It rarely sets seed pods for me, despite very many hand pollinations. Mr. Ko sells seeds of this, I have had some excellent seedlings from his seeds. I wonder how he does it. This photo shows a flower with six petals, it normally has the usual five but I don't have a good photo:
and the pollen parent, which is a very floriferous plant.
