ADDA calculates by default the scattering for two orthogonal polarizations. Unpolarized light is the incoherent average of these two. Hence, the same averaging applies to all output quantities, related to intensity of the field rather than phase, that are given in files named with -X or -Y at the end. For instance, Cext_unpol = 0.5*(Cext_X + Cext_Y).
Angle-resolved quantities - the Mueller and the scattering matrices - by their definition are independent of the incident polarization. More precisely, they contain the results for any incident polarization. See sections 10.1 "Mueller matrix" and 10.2 "Amplitude matrix" of the manual for more details.
