Hello,

The adblock is very wonderful addon for chrome. 

But I can't understand why it requires the last version chrome? 

For example, I can't install it on version 22.0.1229.92. And I would not want to install the latest version of chrome. Can you help me?

You need Chrome 23 or later, because AdBlock uses features that only exist in Chrome 23. Sorry for the trouble! - Michael
