what is the proper forum for submitting patches?

i posted a few days back a method we added to cache_fu and use
internally.
no one really commented on it one way or another.

i have some other patches i'd like to submit, but i'd like some
feedback on
whether the patches are good, bad or poorly implemented.

Right now the best thing to do is fork or git clone
http://github.com/defunkt/cache_fu then send a pull request or patch.

First of all thanks for bringing up your concern. This is definitely
the right place to talk about patches, although Chris has strongly
suggested his github site as the basis for patching/forking [1]. It
just launched a short while ago and seems to be down at this very
moment but the url is below [2].

I don't follow cache_fu as closely as I once did, but I am happy to
review the ideas behind any patches and discuss them at length. The
projects that I use cache_fu on are in a code freeze, so I don't have
much need or ability to test patches unless we're talking about some
serious enhancements.
