Hi Guys
I have been chatting a bit on the side with Martin and James about the new schema as I have been implementing a demo asms client for cloudfoundry.

I was wondering if anyone was interested in joining via Google Hangouts a virtual meetup this Monday at 4:30pm PST to chat about apps they are working on and how these changes help or can be made to help.

If you are just add this page https://plus.google.com/u/0/106859987152123114737/posts and Ill post the hangout as the page.

Cool look forward to chatting with everyone

Thanks Will and James for joining the hangout today.

For the rest of the mailing list here is what we covered yesterday, and since we had other meetings we had to bolt for, we will continue today again at 4:30pm PST again via Google Hangout
Anyone here is welcome to join.

Will/James please add anything I missed. Btw is there a way to get the recording of the hangout after its done ?

- Monica -> James: Why did we add a new batch of verbs now ? Does this add friction or help ? James: SCORM and collecting items from wiki
  - Monica -> James: Why did we add verbs to the existing schema spec and should we continue editing the same spec with all the authors from 2-3 years ago ?
Seems like it will generate an incorrect IP trail. Most of this new items are added by James so they should probably go in a new spec.
  - James -> Monica: How about we move old authors to acknowledgements? .. Decided to ask in this mailing list
  - Monica: Did we remove anything from the schema spec as it already had implementors ?
  - James Answer:No just added to event
- Monica -> James:When to add new verbs ?
  - Will -> Should we follow the microformats process and first have implementations then add them to the spec
Monica: Yes I would prefer if we document in the spec once 2 interop implementations have been established. At the very least we need to know why authors are introducing verbs. What their use cases are

- The new verb spec James created
  - Benefits of JSON format for describing new verbs
    - James: Expose the introduction of verb stories using Activity Streams format -- P2
    - Monica: Expose them in API docs ?
    - James: Make verbs discoverable. Aggregators have a better fallback representation for new verbs they see.
- Monica: Should we create a similar spec for Object Types ?
James: Lets wait and see how verbs goes.
Monica: OK I will try to use it and see if anything is missing

Thanks
