The tasks are not physically copied to the calendar. This design reflects the separation between the tasks that have to be completed as soon as possible and the "hard landscape" - the tasks that need to happen at a certain day or time of the day such as meetings and pre-arranged calls. The "hard landscape" goes to calendar while all the other tasks are managed in your task management application.

AC seems to be what I need, but this missing feature of posting the due dates on a Calendar makes me search for something else. Despite the fact that I've paid for both, the web subscription and Android apps, and I've been (trying) to use it for the last several months, I'm currently assessing some other options. When you don't have the luxury (or are not able) to separate "the hard landscape" from the rest of the activities and when the active projects are plenty, it would be A LOT more effective to assign realistic due dates to actions if you had all previous assigned due dates posted in a Calendar-like page, thus avoiding or managing competing due dates. It doesn't have to be Google Calendar (it would be nice, though), as I understand that the effort of connecting the two applications is significant, but at least an internal Calendar of the AC would do as well.
Please tell me if there is any chance of getting this within AC or I have to find it somewhere else.
