Issue when publishing to gitHub

Hello to everybody,
I published my app on gitHub as soon as I started developing it, and everything worked until I began using Actionbarsherlock. From then on I was not able to commit the changes on github, since Eclipse freezes as soon as it starts to collect files to push.
I don't think this is a problem related to Actionbarsherlock at all, I'm pretty sure there's a bug somewhere in Eclipse+eGit which makes it hard to commit a project that deals with external libraries. I'm posting it here because I do believe this must be happened to somebody else before, so maybe somebody can help.
