I would like to see this so that I can construct my message on the fly. In particular, I want to substitute some text using TextUtils.expandTemplate().

Hello, any comment on this?
I find annotations very inflexible especially for things that are localization dependent, like text can be. Please provide properties for some of these localizable items.

It had been implemented on the trunk.
I have to publish a new snapshot version, but it will be an 'alpha' quality release.
