Skill set needs are as follows:

 

10+ Yrs of Experience, with min 8-9 years of demonstrated experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining HP UNIX Environment, with excellent communication skills and process oriented + offshore coordination preferred in a global environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES -
- Installing, configuring and maintaining HP UNIX Servers
- Installation and configuration of HA environment using McService Guard and VERITAS Cluster.
- Configuration and administration of HP LVM and VERITAS logical volume manager.
- Installing and Maintaining Ignite environment

  Understanding and Administering Business copy.
- Patch and Package administration
- Printer Administration
- Writing shell scripts to accomplish day to day system administration task
- Configuring and supporting Virtualization on HP Servers (nPar – vPar)
- Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue
- Capacity planning and fine tune system for optimal performance
- Understanding of SAN and NAS storage.
- Installation, configuration and Administration of Net backup environment

- Administration of NIS or LDAP environment
- Configuring UNIX Security baseline
- Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue
