Blast.

But the CEDC and NECN staff are very committed in crowdmapping and getting lots of encouragement from the influential people who are exposed to it, so seem very likely to keep trying until we get it funded.

Hi Everyone, I wanted to share with you that, unfortunately, we were not selected for the Motorola Mobility Foundation grant to support our crowdsourced mapping project.
Thank you to Scott and All for your help on the effort!
We will keep looking into funding opportunities.

Dear Gene Lee,

Thank you for your submission to the Empowerment Grants program.  We regret to inform you that the Motorola Mobility Foundation is unable to fund the request from The Northeast Coalition of Neighborhoods for $25,000.00 for Crowdsourced Community Asset Mapping.  We receive a large number of applications and do not have the funds to support all of the requests.

We invite you to learn more about the Motorola Mobility Foundation Apps for Change program which has four integral components: funding, connecting, building and teaching mobile digital technology skills for non-profits.  In the coming weeks, we will post information to motorola.com/give on how you can stay involved with the Apps for Change program and all of our initiatives.

If your organization submitted more than one request to the Motorola Mobility Foundation, you will receive a separate communication for each.

Sincere Regards,

Eileen Sweeney

Darn it! I'm sure other opportunities for funding will come around for this project! Thanks for your work Scott.
