Summary of week4: Quality Assurance and OER in ODL

This past week dealt with QA and OER. It marked the 4th and last week in the Virtual Forum of the ACDE conference. I am pleased to have facilitated this sub-theme. Let me do a very short summary of the main issues which came out of the week's discussion.

More than any other area in ODL, quality assurance continues to be pointed to as its archilles heel. No matter how well thought out the use of OER in ODL is, no matter the elaborate plan and co-operation in its implementation, if it is not quality assured, we might as well forget it.... more »
