For our office in Kiev we are currently looking for a Senior Automated
QA Engineer.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Senior Automated QA Engineer will have experience in testing,
development, infrastructure and tools for automated quality assurance.
He or she will work on defining the process of delivering Automated QA
assets, setting up the testing environments and leading the team of
Automated QA Engineers. This will require from the candidate
exceptional understanding of QA processes, substantial knowledge of
various QA automation tools and approaches, and leadership ability.
Your tasks will be:
• Directly assisting the off-shore automation lead with choosing
appropriate test automation approaches and techniques to address
issues of system quality
• Identifying and seeking out opportunities for test automation /
process improvement
• Executing automated tests in accordance with the test plan or as
otherwise directed
• Assisting with coordinating automated testing efforts
• Researching appropriate test tools and understanding their potential
impact, and producing product evaluation documentation
• Providing training/brown bag sessions to the QA team on a new tool/
technique
• Logging and tracking defects in accordance with the department
standards
• Automating manual test cases to form effective regression test
suites with a view to ensuring they are maintainable, reusable, and
flexible.
• Assisting with the definition an effective automation framework to
ensure maximum reusability of automation test cases/functions
potentially across multiple test tools.
• Train non-automation resources on effective use of the selected
automation tool

Skills, Experience and Personality

The Senior Automated QA Engineer needs a deep understanding of all QA
processes, tools and approaches. The position requires 4+ years of
experience of QA in the software development industry. The ideal
candidate should have an understanding of software development
processes on various platforms. The Senior Automated QA Engineer
should possess a very high ability in automated scripting, preferably
across multiple tools (e.g. QTP, Rational Robot). Fluent English is
required.
