So far I have only heard of a few members doing the Cascade 1200 near
the end of June hence the talk of having Hell Week near the end of
May. Although its unlikely I will be riding I'm prepared to organize
this again and will throw out one suggestion. May is always tenuous
weather wise in Alberta and getting in four days of solid riding in
reasonable weather would rely on some real luck. The Cascade has
proven to have very hot riding conditions which Chester, who has done
the ride every time its been run, can attest to. If we have enough
interest from the Cascade riders or from members who want to get base
training miles in we could run the event from my place in Tucson. It
will be hot down there by the end of May and we would have to have
really bad luck not to have good weather. We would need to
incorporate the May long weekend to make it work for most people.
Just a thought, forward your comments.

I would love to do that, however, it is too early to plan for me
(work).
