Hi all,

The weather forecast for Saturday seems to change hourly. The ride will be postponed if the weather is really crappy, so please check your emails Friday night.  We can also make the call as a group Saturday morning at the start location. I suspect the die-hards are going to want to ride regardless, and handling inclement weather is a part of Randonneuring, so dress appropriately. 

A reminder about this route: there are no services at all for the first 90 kms, so plan accordingly. After that, there are services no more than 30 km apart.

Hi all,

The weather forecast for tomorrow is not great...cool, wet, and windy. However, I know there's at least a couple of you out there that are keen to go, and word is that Calgary's ride is a go (and their weather will be similar to ours), so Warburg is a go. It'll be a tough ride, but stick with a buddy or two so that you can trade drafts, and you should be okay.

An update for Edmonton riders...

 

Because the weather forecast is pretty crappy, Peter has graciously allowed us a week of grace. That means, whoever wants to ride tomorrow is free to do so, and whoever wants to wait until next week can also do so. You will get credit for the ride in either case.

 

Note that this will be the only time we will be allowed this grace week. The remaining rides must be ridden on the date scheduled, or postponed for all riders at the discretion of the coordinator.
