Birds and nature wisdom of our region
2010

Athol Bird and Nature Club
and the
Millers River Environmental Center

Created as a fundraiser for the Miller's River Environmental Center, this Calendar is the perfect gift for the holidays for anyone with an interest in the natural world around them. It provides week by week information about things in nature occurring in the North Quabbin region, making this calendar unique to our area. Do you want to know when to listen for spring peepers? How about a reminder to look for returning swallows and warblers? The nature notes included in the calendar will make this a fun and useful resource throughout the year!

The calendar has 12 full color photos of a diverse mix of local birds, animals, insects, plants and other nature shots taken in the North Quabbin Region by Club members. Each photo includes unique facts about the subject of the photo along with photographer credit. Over 300 nature notes are scattered throughout the calendar, and new this year, is a monthly nature trivia question to test your knowledge. The calendar is an 11 x 17 inch calendar when open, with a small hole punch for hanging on the wall.

Purchase now for $9.95 ea. (plus shipping and handling) from our online store

If you are local to the Athol area, the calendar can also be purchased at many local merchants in the North Quabbin region. Not only will you save on postage, but by shopping locally, you will be supporting the many of the merchants who support the Club:
