The purpose of this event to provide a fun and playing opportunity for members in a competitive atmosphere where members can practice their skills and strategies. The emphasis will be on sportsmanship, team work, and making friends.
Registration By email or in person (to ABC Counter Desk) Entry fee $ 2.50 per person (Non refundable). Entry form and fee has to be drop off at ABC front office by hand on or before April 21, 08. For non members – Invite your friends! (Pay guest fee of $ 8.00) IMPORTANT: To participate, a waiver must be signed !

Conditions 1. Tournament-grade shuttles only. Each player will bring 1 birdie; winning team keeps the remaining birdie. 2. Each player chooses his/her own partner. It could be a 2 females, 2 males, and male and female combination as long as both their level are in “C” category. 3. Maximum 4 teams per pool. 21 points rally scoring and best 2 out of 3 games systems (USAB scoring). Maximum 16 teams. 4. Prizes will be awarded for only 1st, 2nd and 3rd places winners. The prize money will be distributed in the following format : 1st Place = 50 % of the pot, 2nd Place = 30 % and 3rd Place = 20%. 5. A player not ready to play five minutes after his / her match is called will be defaulted. 6. Each player in a doubles partnership must submit separate entry forms. 7. The tournament committee reserves the right to change any of the above conditions. 8. The procedure to solve a round robin tie is as follows: 1. Ranking will be established by the number of matches won. 2. If two players / pairs have won the same number of matches, the winner of the match between them will be ranked higher. 3. If three or more players / pairs have won the same number of matches, ranking will be established by the difference between total games won and total games lost. *** If this still leaves two players / pairs equal, the winner of the match between them will be ranked higher. 4. If three or more players / pairs have won the same number of matches and are equal in the difference between total games won and total games lost, ranking will be established by the difference between total points won and total points lost. 5. If this still leaves two players / pairs equal, the winner of the match between them will be ranked higher. 6. If three or more players / pairs are still equal, then ranking will be established by drawing lots.
