Subject: pdf output with underlying text problem
This is my command to  ocr my incoming faxes on an hylafaxserver.

/usr/local/bin/abbyyocr9 -rl German -ic Uncompressed -if $tiff_file -
pem ImageOnText -pfpf LZWGray -pfpr 200 -f PDF -of $pdf

The resulting pdf and even the ocr quality is fine. I can view the pdf
in amost every pdf viewer and extract text.

But when i resubmit this pdf to my hylafaxserver to fax it to somebody
else, only a grey page  is sent.

When i open this pdf in osx Preview and save it without any changes
using a new name and then submit it to my fax server the result is
even fine.

If i try to submit a pdf with underlying text generated by omnipage
the resulting fax is ok.

In my opinion something must be mixed up in the resulting pdf which
refuses the correct pdf2tiff conversion.
Any ideas?

Thank you very much in advance for any helpful hints.

Dear Michael,

Could you please send the original TIF and the output PDF generated by
Abbyy Ocr 9.0 (which is faxed as a grey page) to our technical support
address Tech-Support...@abbyy.com for further investigation?
Looking forward to your response at Tech-Support...@abbyy.com.

Best regards,
