GlaxoSmithKline bids to purchase ID Biomedical
Research Money, September, 2005
GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) has made a $1.7-billion bid to purchase Vancouver's ID Biomedical
(IDB), one of Canada's largest biotechnology firms and the primary supplier of the
Canadian government's supply of influenza vaccine. The offer has been endorsed by the
boards of both firms and is expected to close by late 2005 or early 2006, subject to IDB
shareholder approval.
GSK's offer for IDB is the latest in its global strategy for boosting its vaccine holdings
and follows the recent doubling of influenza vaccine production at its facility in Dresden
Germany, and its purchase of a Wyeth vaccine site in Mariette PA.
Under the terms of the purchase agreement, GSK would obtain all IDB shares at $35 a share,
or a 13% premium as of Sept 6/05. In addition, GSK agrees to assume IDE's...

Canada needs two vaccine suppliers, Ottawa admits
From Friday's Globe and Mail Nov. 07, 2009 3:00AM EST
Canada needs more than one vaccine manufacturer to deal with future flu pandemics and to
avoid production delays that have affected the fight against the H1N1 virus, federal
officials say.
"There is no debate. We all feel that when the time will come to renegotiate, we will go
to tenders on a two-part contract to ensure maximum flexibility," said a senior official
who has been working directly on the file.
While the Harper government has applauded GlaxoSmithKline Inc. for making more than 6
million doses so far at its facility in Ste-Foy, Que., a number of officials involved in
the crisis said Canada deserves a second producer in the future.
Had that been the case this time, one manufacturer could have worked on the production of
vaccines with the adjuvant additive, while the other one could have produced
non-adjuvanted vaccines for pregnant women.
GSK was forced to make changes to its production line in mid-course, which caused delays
in the delivery of vaccines to the provinces.
The official said that a simple stroke of bad luck can endanger thousands of doses of
vaccine, and that it's better to "be safe than sorry" when it comes to production matters.
No, it's a false flag operation to hoodwink the people into wanting the
vaccines, by thinking there isn't enough and create a problem and people
will line up like good little sheep to get their toxic vaccines.
Not quite, the manufacturer of the vaccine had stated they had logistical
challenges.

The vaccine is not made at Biomedical here in Vancouver.
Posted item is 4 years and two months old.
Lots have changed since then.
You missed the point again Kent and I'll say it slowly for you the reason
why....it's a false flag operation to hoodwink the people into wanting the
vaccines, by thinking there isn't enough and create a problem that people
will line up like good little sheep to get their toxic vaccines.
If you can't understand the facts that canada has claimed it made enough
vaccines for every canadian and spent millions of dollars for that, only to
have people saying they are not getting the toxic vaccines, then the
government has done something to create the problem.
Thanks for the post it was the best of the day.
I read in the newspaper today that the vaccine might be available to
the whole public in a few weeks far ahead of the late Dec. original
planned roll out. I will be getting my shot and urge you to do so also.
I think the whole thing may be a eugenics project.
In time this will improve the gene pool as the dummies get sick and
unable to reproduce due to being sterilized.. it's a shame the
children of stupid parents will suffer the same fate.
I wonder if the elites thought this through... because the people that
are left are those who were intelligent enough to question government/
WHO/pharmacorporatism, with the dummies that helped to make our lives
miserable sterile or sick!
I think they might have miscalculated there!
you go right ahead, the more socilaist sheep that do, the better the world
will be with the governments population control program...
