Upcoming Events: JANUARY

Wednesday, Jan. 11: New Year Networking Happy Hour
Did you make a resolution this year? EMP made a resolution to sharpen
our networking skills and broaden our contacts. So help us start the
New Year off right by joining us at Vapiano in Chinatown from 5:30 to
8 p.m.

Thursday, Jan. 19: ArtLab tour and Art Experience
Ever wish you could be a teen again? Reserve your spot now to get an
exclusive tour of the ArtLab and experiment with cutting-edge
technology! ARTLAB+ is a design studio for teens at the Hirshhorn
Museum and Sculpture Garden. Now ArtLab is opening its doors to EMP
for a night, which will include a brief studio tour led by an ARTLAB+
mentor, the opportunity to play with visual and audio technology and a
chance to connect with other EMPs!

Upcoming Events: FEBRUARY

Wednesday, Feb. 1: Second National EMP Career Development Event:
Interviewing Skills/Techniques
Those who attended our Career Development Event in October on resume
writing will be excited to know that the second one is right around
the corner. The speakers will be Wendy Blackwell and Wendy Luke.

Time and location are still being decided, we will let you know as
soon as they get finalized via Facebook and Twitter.
This event is only open to AAM members and employees of AAM member
museums; registration will open soon.

Thursday, Feb. 23: "Secrets of the Phillips" Tour at the The Phillips
Collection
A Phillips staffer will be giving us a tour and then some at 6 p.m.
More details to come closer to the event, however since space is
