Parents,
I am forwarding you a reminder in case you are interested in taking a survey about what parents of kids who use AAC think. After the information, you will find the informed consent form from Idaho State University. It is "legalese" that the university needs to write up for any research that involves people. The survey is only available for a short time, so don't put it off if you want to share your opinion.
Robin
Have you taken the AAC Parent Survey yet? Only a
short amount of time to take it!
*Does your child use an AAC device?
*Would you like to share your valuable opinions?
My name is Emily Tuttle and I am a second year graduate student in the Master’s
program in Speech-Language Pathology at Idaho State University-Meridian.
I am conducting a research study using an online survey. The purpose of
this study is to find out more about the factors that parents feel lead
to success with an AAC device or abandonment of the device by their
child. Gathering these important opinions will help educate teachers, speech-language pathologists, AAC device manufacturers, and others of the areas that need improvement.
Important:
*The survey will take roughly
10 minutes to
complete.
*Your name and personal
information will remain anonymous.
*Opportunities to share your
opinions are usually limited!
