Subject: a brain to the open manufacturing resources body

The proliferation of Hackerspaces, subscription tool clubs, and outsourcing
has made advanced manufacturing accessible to all. There are more tools
than we know how to make use of, and the limiting factor has shifted from
'what resources are available?' to 'what's can we do?'.

I've been developing an organizational structure, to focus the production
of profitable ways to use open manufacturing resources. Now I'm ready to
put the pieces together, and welcome you to get involved with the birth of
this new twist on the 'ol idea factory concept. I have a warehouse space
with offices near Maker Works and A2mech shop, and would like to invite you
to join in a brainstorm/informational session in the interest in moving
forward on this. It is to be a sort of brain to the manufacturing resources
body. A way to lower the barrier of entry to the human side of developing
ideas and organizing people around their execution. Often human factors are
the most difficult part of a project, and we can lower this barrier of
entry into new production.

Lemme know if you're interested, and we can discuss when is best to meet :D

to be clear :P I'm wondering if anyone wants to work on a platform for
problem-solving, project-centered, 'virtual organizations', focused on
making it easier to get people together and make money of the
hackerspace/makerworks phenomena.

:P to be slightly less opaque...

It's not about working online, as 'virtual organization' may suggest. I've
scoped the hackerspace/makerspace scene, and I want something a little more
people focused. What I'm working on is more like a design firm meets
couchsurfing.com ... and all real activities are face-to-face. The
'virtual' here really means ephemeral, in that an organization forms around
a problem-project, and dissolves. The forming-and-dissolving is facilitated
by a social network type system. So really it's not about 'virtual
organization' in the online sense.
