Hey Everyone,

I know this is a strange request for the CocoaHeads mailing list, but I'm actually looking for an Android developer.

Specifically I'm looking for a developer to help me port my latest iOS game, Catch a Match, to the Kindle Fire.

Any recommendations? (preferably someone you personally know or have worked with before).  Thanks much!

Hey Scott! I don’t know what your budget is but we have Android developers here at Detroit Labs. The bill rate is $6K/week, which is probably on the pricy side for Android, but if you need help we’re here!

Hey Scott,

Sorry to take you off topic, but you got me wondering, did you ever consider developing on Unity?  If so, what held you back?  What are other's thoughts on Unity?   I've heard good things, but don't have much of a sample to go by (two).

Good question Keith.

I've always been shy of third-pary non-native toolsets, but I'm still open-minded about them.  Can anyone make a good case for Unity?

Are there native options other than just using OpenGL directly?

Thanks Kevin.

But seriously, I was wondering if there are 3rd party native
frameworks which offer features similar to unity.
