Meanwhile, I wonder if you've ever done this: Take out a piece of paper
(or open Word) and list the goals you wish to accomplish in 3 months, 6
months, and the next 12. They can be anything. They can be realistic or
off-the-wall, or both. They can be personal or professional but if
you're a writer, then you should list those writing goals you have. I
can say with certainty that, aside from the above, I'm going to
complete at least another novel manuscript--either a fresh new concept,
or finish one I had already started. I'm also going to learn a new
language and probably brush up on my guitar chops.

So what're you sitting around reading this thing for? Get writing. And
